blen is a non-profit, forward looking, dedicated, education forum with an interest in language education and literacy in the widest sense. Currently we have six areas of specialism, corresponding to the acronyms at the top of the page; however, our main aim is to emphasise the common thread between these areas.

We deal with key stages 2 and 3 (yrs 7 - 14) and participants at our events find the experience very enjoyable, stimulating and useful. Our comprehensive range of publications and resources are listed and available for purchase.

We offer open access to our website, and a non-obligatory membership scheme with additional advantages.

If you would like to apply for blen membership online, please click here.

Alternatively, click here to download our membership registration form. Please fill it in and return it to: blen, 35 Connaught Road, London N4 4NT. Unfortunately, we are not yet able to process e-payments, so all membership fees must take the form of cheque or BACS payment.

Please make sure you have clearly indicated the need for a separate invoice to be sent to you on any of the forms that you fill out, if you require one.

Please note that there is a £15 (individual) or £30 (institutional) membership fee which is to be paid annually. Membership can only be activated on receipt of payment by cheque or BACS.
